The Radio Department - Pet Grief - mp3 review

I had to go back to Planet Rose last night to get my bag.  Originally the plan was to just stop by and pick it up, then head out to see Tahiti 80.  Turns out Tahiti 80 was actually sold out (what the fuck?  for real? are we talking about the same band?).  So this time I went with Andy, which was prolly my first mistake.  The second was thinking that I could sing Journey after about 5 whiskey’s, that shit is high man.  The third was trying to sing every Smiths song they had (and Weezer, and Britney Spears, and Depeche Mode, etc, etc) in a drunken duet with Andy.  The final mistake was letting his girlfriend take photos and video of us doing it.  Good times. 

Some Swedish kids who got their name from a gas station/radio repairer shop in Lund, Sweden, which had a large sign with the name Radioavdelningen, (”The Radio Department” in Swedish) hanging outside their shop.  These tracks are from their upcoming release ”Pet Grief” which is due to release March 15th on Labrador Records.
