I bet you thought you were rid of me, eh? Jeez, it feels like a decade since my last review email. Well, I needed some time get used to the new diggs. Its rough enough changing jobs, but I feel like I’ve got to adjust to a REAL job again. Not that insound wasn’t a real job, but its not like your typical 9-to-5′er (or 11-to-what-the-fuck-ever’er in my case). Anyway, I feel settled in enough to be excited to send you guys some Jesu I got a hold of.
Jesu (pronounced “yay-zu”) is an experimental/shoegazer/ambient/drone doom rock band formed in 2003 by Justin Broadrick following the breakup of Godflesh. Jesu was the name of the last song on the final Godflesh release, Hymns. and Broadrick decided to adopt it as the name of his new project.
