There's nothing new here. It's familiar, but done well. I happen to like this type of music though. Much like the latest Pinback which reminds me so much of Built to Spill on a lot of tracks. These two remind me of a plethora of current offerings. They'd have fit right in at CMJ - maybe they did - I was too busy to go. I like it. Hope they'll be my myspace friend.... I'll probably pick this disc up when it's out. Damn Canadians are taking over the music world. There’s nothing new here.
It’s familiar, but done well. I happen to like this type of music though.
