Okay. I'm a bit slow to the comment jam, being out of the whole NYC circle of trust. But as I was staring at the 5 inches of accumulation we received here on the north side of Chicago I realized, that's Matt singing...Good deal! And it's nice to not hear that fucking 4 on the floor. Cheers to originality.

These songs lack cohesion and feel all over the place, but I agree they have potential....because well...Install Rebel Gov't Here was a damn good album.

Oh and the producer of these tracks...he's a music genius.

I agree with all the above. The drums sound AWESOME!@%# on that first track. Slick as wet balls.

The songs feel somewhat broken and lopsided to me. Like trying to spend the day walking around with different shoes on each foot (well made shoes). Hollywood is my favorite.

Lots of great ideas but not enough to make it to my playlist.

I think the best one in this group of songs is 'Hollywood', minus the scratching and some of the lyrics.

I feel like there is a lot of potential here, great guitar parts, good singing, and I really like the time changes. Just needs a little reworking and no Limp Bizkit scratching- there is no need for it.

And whoever recorded this is AWESOME!

Yeah, really not into those songs. I think I could like them and I
honestly want to, but too many similarities to Ben Gibbard before he
learned how to sing and a bit too much hipster wannabee lyrics for me.
It's "kid rock". The song Hollywood, cmon guys, pick a style. I was
waiting for a rap section to come in after the turn table antics and
guitar solo.

Edit, just checked their myspace page: " filled with queer little humps
and valleys." too right, but me thinks thou doth protest too much with
this: "There are a million horses out there. A million bands with matching
outfits; skinny kids with skinny jeans; four heads of identically fucked
up hair. Four million horses telling you exactly what they think you want
to hear."

The disjointed-ness doesn't work. If it did, my band with accordions, a
sitar, recorder, harmonica, saxophone, djemba and songs about Stumble Upon
and jumping the turnstiles at subway stations sung entirely in falsetto
would be touring with Arcade Fire right now.

Having said all that, I'm sure they'll be the next big thing.
